Harry G. Brix
1947 - 2009

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harry G. Brix, founder and chairman of The Brix Group, Inc. Harry was a dedicated and passionate businessman, loving husband, proud father, and doting grandfather. Harry also possessed a life-long love affair with auto racing as a driver, fan, team owner and father to a driver. Harry touched the lives of thousands and will be deeply missed.

Founder and Chairman of the Board

Harry Brix is the Founder of American Wireless and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Brix Group, Inc. His visionary approach to the industry led Mr. Brix to form American Wireless in 1984, one of the first wireless master agents. The company remains one of the largest Master Agents in North America. Other revolutionary ideas brought forth by Mr. Brix since founding American Wireless include equipment distribution and financing, bi-weekly commission payments, and technological advancements such as the Agent Portal. Mr. Brix is a widely respected telecommunications industry veteran.

Kristina Reed, President and CEO, The Brix Group, Inc.

Kristina Reed brings more than 10 years of wireless and retail experience to American Wireless. Previously she worked for a number of indirect agents before joining American Wireless in 1997. During her tenure at American Wireless she has held Customer Service, Branch Manager, and Regional Sales Manager positions. In 2003 following the AW Portal deployment, she was charged with streamlining Financial Services, Credit, and Co-op Departments.

Dave Tilton, Vice President and CFO, The Brix Group, Inc.

Dave Tilton joined American wireless in 2002 as Corporate Controller. Recognizing the need to further streamline the company's financial operations, Mr. Tilton was promoted to CFO in early 2004 . Prior to joining American Wireless, Mr. Tilton served as Director of Financial Reporting for Asyst Technologies, Inc. and Egghead.com where he was responsible for SEC reporting and Treasury. Mr. Tilton holds a B.S. degree in business administration and a C.P.A.

Mitch McCoy, Vice President Ecommerce and Direct Channel Sales

A 17-year marketing and channel sales veteran, Mr. McCoy is responsible for ecommerce and the direct channel. During his tenure with the company, McCoy launched and rapidly built the ecommerce business and secured large and coveted carrier contracts. Continuing his advancement in the company, he is currently tasked with accelerating growth of the company’s online master agent program. Having served as Vice President of Marketing for a wireless platform company and a leading online telecom retail website, Mr. McCoy brings a stellar track record and a vast amount of telecom and ecommerce experience to the company.
